AusNurse Nurse Referral Program – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Nurse Referral Program (“Program”) operated by AusNurse Pty Ltd (“AusNurse”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By participating in the Program, you (“Referrer”) agree to be bound by the following terms.
1. Eligibility Criteria
1.1. The Referrer must be:
- A current nurse contracted with AusNurse at the time of making the referral.
- In good standing with no pending disciplinary actions or contract breaches.
1.2. The Referred Nurse must:
- Not be an existing nurse in the AusNurse database or have previously applied to AusNurse.
- Be deemed an Active Employee, defined as having completed at least one contract or shift with AusNurse in the past 12 weeks.
- Complete the qualifying number of shifts as outlined in Section 3 within the specified timeframe.
2. Referral Procedure
2.1. Referrals must be submitted via the official AusNurse referral form or designated communication channel.
2.2. The Referrer must provide accurate and complete information about the Referred Nurse.
2.3. Only one Referrer will be eligible for a referral bonus per referred nurse. In the event of multiple referrals for the same candidate, the first valid referral received will be considered.
3. Bonus Reward Tiers
Referral bonuses are paid based on the length of the contract completed by the Referred Nurse:
- Short-Term Placement: $150 bonus
- Mid-Term Placement: $300 bonus
- Long-Term Placement: $500 bonus
- Super Bonus: $500 bonus
When the referred nurse works a 4–7 week contract within their first 3 months.
When the referred nurse works an 8–11 week contract within their first 6 months.
When the referred nurse works a 12+ week contract within their first 12 months.
When you refer 5 nurses who each work a minimum 12+ week contract within 6 months, you take an extra $500 making your total earning via referral program $3,000
4. Weekly Bonus – 1% Referral Reward
4.1. In addition to the fixed referral bonuses, the Referrer will receive 1% of the referred nurse’s total weekly salary for each full week worked during the referred nurse’s first contract only.
4.2. This weekly bonus is:
- Calculated based on the net weekly wage (post-tax) of the referred nurse.
- Paid with the Referrer’s regular salary cycle.
- Applicable only for the duration of the referred nurse’s first contract, and not beyond.
4.3. Shift cancellations or unpaid weeks are excluded from this calculation.
5. Payment of Bonus
5.1. Referral bonuses are:
- Paid within one month of the Referred Nurse completing the required number of shifts within the designated timeframe.
- Processed as taxable income and included in your regular salary payment.
5.2. For the purpose of bonus calculation:
- 1 week = 5 shifts.
- Cancelled shifts do not count as shifts worked.
6. Other Conditions
6.1. AusNurse reserves the right to:
- Verify the eligibility of both the Referrer and the Referred Nurse.
- Withhold bonus payments if any eligibility criteria are not met or if false information was provided.
- Modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without notice.
6.2. Seasonal or promotional incentives may be available for specific assignments. These are subject to separate terms and may be offered at AusNurse’s discretion.
